(四十二章經, 四十二章经)

The 'Sutra of Forty-two Sections' generally attributed to Kāśyapa Mātaṇga, v. [lang id =1028]迦, and Gobharaṇa, v. [lang id =1028]竺, the first Indian monks to arrive officially in China. It was, however, probably first produced in China in the [lang id =1028]晉 Chin dynasty. There are various editions and commentaries.
